What is efurb?

efurb.com is an e-commerce store specializing in like-new refurbished products across multiple categories, such as Home & Kitchen, Tools & Outdoors, Electronics & More! One-year warranties, unbeatable customer service and unprecedented tech support are included with every single product and purchase. Shop refurbished with confidence at efurb.

What is refurbished?

Refurbished products are customer returns (mostly due to buyer's remorse) which get fully tested and factory restored to Like-new condition. They're not technically new, but they look and work just like new products! Learn More!

Who refurbishes the products on efurb?

Regardless of their origin, all products must be in Like-new condition and fully functional in order to get approved for sale on efurb. They all come with the same amazing support and an efurb 1-year warranty. Our items are refurbished in one of three ways:

Manufacturer Refurbished:
These are items that have been refurbished by the manufacturer (such as Samsung, Dyson, Black & Decker, etc.) or a 3rd party refurbisher who is authorized by the manufacturer.

Factory Refurbished:
These are items that have been refurbished by independent 3rd parties who operate their own state-of-the-art refurbishing facilities.

efurb Refurbished:
These are items that we refurbish in-house. We take pride in our refurbishing process, founded on our great communication between our efurb Experts and refurbishing techs. Our unique approach allows us to focus on steps in our refurbishing process that are otherwise overlooked.

Why should I buy refurbished products?

Refurbished products always have amazing value. In addition to being priced up to 70% off, our refurbished products have unparalleled quality and support. Unlike new products, where only a small percentage are tested, each and every refurbished product gets individual attention and is thoroughly tested. Does efurb sell brand new products too?

Nope! efurb exclusively sells refurbished products.

Will efurb allow other sellers to sell products on efurb?

Nope! efurb is not a marketplace. We stock, sell, and ship every single product sold on efurb. To ensure and upkeep the highest quality and customer experience possible, we do not allow 3rd parties to sell on efurb.com. If you are a distributor or manufacturer looking to sell refurbished products to efurb, please send us a message at purchasing@efurb.com.

What kind of packaging does efurb use?

The majority of products sold on efurb come in eco-friendly and hassle-free packaging. No need for a chainsaw to open your item! Some of our items may come in retail packaging as well. Used, crushed, torn or scuffed boxes are never used for efurb’s products. If an item's packaging is not in pristine condition, it will be repackaged in our custom hassle-free and eco-friendly packaging.

Does efurb offer free shipping?

You betcha! You’ll get free shipping on every purchase. No minimum purchases and no fine print. Shipping with efurb is fast and free!

Are there expedited shipping options?

Unfortunately, we do not offer expedited shipping options at this time. We plan to have one and two day shipping options available really soon.

Where does efurb ship to?

Our apologies to our friends overseas, but currently we only ship to the continental U.S.A. We will also not be shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO at this time.

When will my item ship?

Orders placed before 3PM EST will be shipped from our facility that same day! If your order is placed after 3PM, it will be shipped the following business day.

When will I get my item?

Real fast! Our system is quite clever and uses the carrier which delivers the item to you in the shortest amount of time. When you browse our site, we display our estimated delivery dates on each product page. This date is based on your zip code, the day of the week, and carrier delivery schedules. We are really proud of this feature and hope you enjoy our Fast n’ Free shipping options!

How do I track my item?

Once shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number and a link to track your package with the appropriate carrier. You can also track your item by selecting the Track your item tab on your orders page.

Does efurb require signature confirmation on delivery?

In an effort to provide our customers with a safe and secure delivery, all orders that are valued over $300 will require a signature upon delivery. If you are unable to be present at the time of delivery, please contact us so we can have your item moved to a FedEx or UPS facility nearby where you can pick up your item.

What is efurb's return policy?

It’s pretty awesome! We have a hassle-free 30-day return policy on all of our products. If you're not happy with the product for any reason (color, size, feel, you name it), we'll take it back within 30 days for a full refund or replacement!

How do I return my item?

It’s real easy, just send us an email (care@efurb.com) or give us a call (855-953-3872). We will send you a prepaid return label right away so you can send your item back for a full refund or replacement. We’re here to help, rest assured you're in good hands.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No way, we cover return shipping! We will email you a prepaid return label and instructions.

How can I track my return shipment?

When we email you the prepaid return label, you will also get the tracking number for the package. You can use that number to track the package as it travels back to our facility.

What shipping service will my return label use?

We use UPS Ground for our return shipping labels.

What if I am not near any UPS drop off locations?

Don't worry, just reach out to care@efurb.com and we’ll help you sort it out.

How fast will you process my return?

Once it arrives at our facility, your return will be processed in 1-2 business days.

How will I know that my return has been processed?

As soon as your return has been processed, we will email you with a confirmation of your refund or replacement.

When will I see my refund?

Once a refund has been issued, it can take 2-5 days to post to your account. The funds will be returned to the payment method used to place the order. If your refund still has not posted, please let us know so we can take a closer look.

Can I get a replacement instead of a refund?

Sure thing! Just let us know that you want to get it replaced instead of refunded. As long as we have stock available, we will gladly replace the item for you.

Do I need to send all the accessories back if I am just getting a replacement?

Please send us all of the accessories, as your replacement will include a full new set of accessories. Thanks.

How will I know when my replacement has shipped?

Once your replacement order is generated, an email with a tracking number will be sent to you. You can use that number to track the package as it travels to you.

Does efurb charge restocking fees?

Nope, all we ask is that you make sure to send back all the original accessories and package the item safely to avoid any damage in transit. Thank you!

I think my item is defective, how do I return it?

What forms of payment does efurb accept?

efurb happily accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal!

Can I send you a cheque?

Unfortunately, we do not accept personal or business cheque as payment.

When will I be charged?

We collect payment once the order has been placed. Orders received before 3PM EST will be shipped same day.

Does efurb charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax to orders that are shipped to NJ or NY.

Does efurb store my credit card information?

We do not store any credit card information on our servers or in our database. It is all powered by Braintree (a Paypal Company). Rest assured that your info is secure when shopping on efurb.

When will I see my refund post in my account?

This can depend on your bank, but usually the funds show up within 2-5 days. Still not there? Reach out to us and we’ll take a closer look.

Is efurb really offering a free 1-Year warranty on every product?

Yep! Every product on efurb.com includes a free 1-Year efurb warranty from the date of purchase. We're confident in our refurbs and we want you to be too.

What does the 1-Year warranty cover?

The warranty protects against any software issues, technical defects or hardware failures. Physical damage due to regular use or accidents, like your iPad dropping and the screen cracking, is not covered. Unfortunately, lost and stolen items are not covered under our warranty. If your item is lost or stolen, please contact us and we will do what we can to assist.

Will my item include a warranty directly from the manufacturer or 3rd party refurbisher?

Most items purchased from efurb do have their own warranties from manufacturers or 3rd parties. Those warranties will always be available to you and are included in your purchase. Just keep in mind that your efurb 1-Year warranty is available regardless of the status of the other warranty.

How long will the efurb warranty process take?

We pride ourselves on our processing speed. Once we receive the product at our facility, we will have a resolution for you within 24 hours! We know you want a quick resolution and we’re up to the task.

Who pays for return shipping?

efurb does! We will happily provide you with a UPS Ground return shipping label and cover the cost of getting your item back to our facility.

What is the warranty process?

Our warranty process couldn't be easier. Below you will find a quick outline of our warranty process:

Let us know what's going on with your item:
Go to your account page to find your order and item. Click the Warranty Info button and follow the on-screen instructions to start your warranty. You will be asked to fill out a brief form letting us know what's up.

Standby for an efurb Expert:
Our efurb experts will contact you right away to troubleshoot your item. If an immediate resolution cannot be found, we will email you a prepaid shipping label with return instructions.

Sit back and relax, we got this:
Once your item is returned to our facility, our in-house technicians will attempt to repair your device. If successful, they will repackage your item and ship it back to you! If we are unable to repair your device, we will happily replace it for you. In the event that we are out of inventory and can't replace your device, we will issue an efurb credit for the full purchase amount.

Regardless of the outcome, we will notify you of the resolution within 24 hours of your item’s arrival at our facility. We’ll even keep you posted as it moves through the steps, so you are constantly aware of where your warranty is holding and when you can expect your resolution

How can I open a warranty?

Super simple! Log in to your account and go to your order history. Find the item and click on the Warranty Info button. Follow the simple on-screen instructions to open your warranty claim.

When will an efurb Expert contact me?

If your warranty is opened during business hours, expect to have an efurb Expert contact you within the hour. Ensuring that your item is working correctly is our top priority!

How can I track the status of my warranty claim?

That’s easy, log in to your account and go to your Orders page. From there, select Warranty Info and then select View Warranty Details to track the status of your claim.

What are the possible resolutions for a warranty?

These are the possible resolutions for the warranty, which depend entirely on purchase date, our ability to repair the item, and our current inventory:

Repair: First, our techs will try to repair the item. If they are successful, they will send it back to you.

Replace: If our talented technicians are unable to repair your item quickly, we will replace the item for you.

Credit: If we are completely out of stock and cannot replace the item, we will issue an efurb store credit for the full purchase amount. We are constantly adding new items and you will surely find the perfect item to purchase with your credits.

(Refund): If your order is still within 30 days of the purchase date, you may also choose to receive a full refund or replacement.

What do I need to include with my item when sending it back?

In a nutshell, if it arrived with your item, please send it back. This includes all chargers, cables, remotes, accessories, even the original box if you have it. Please double check before sealing the box to ensure that everything is included. We want to avoid any damage to your item during transit, so please ensure it is all packaged securely.

Where will my item be sent?

All efurb warranties are processed in our own facility. We handle everything in-house to ensure the highest level of quality and to guarantee 24-hour resolution times for our customers. Rest assured, we will treat your item with love as if it were our own!

When will I be notified of my resolution?

Once your warranty has been resolved, you will receive an email notification indicating your resolution and warranty outcome.

What if my repaired item acts up?

Don't worry, we've got your back! Your warranty lasts for a full year from your purchase date and you can redeem it multiple times during that year.

Who are the efurb Experts?

They are our in-house tech support rockstars! efurb Experts are a unique bunch who combine vast product knowledge with a down-to-earth and friendly approach. They truly define "Tech Support". We love 'em and are positive you will too!

What makes the efurb Experts so special?

Our efurb Experts are there for you! They all have a deep product knowledge, are super friendly and best of all, are not salespeople. Their goals are solely to get you up and running and make your day a little better! It's real support from real people!

Can the efurb Experts help me with an item which I did not buy on efurb?

At this time, efurb Experts will only be supporting products purchased on efurb. Rest assured, if something you bought with us is not working with your current setup, we can definitely help with that too.

What are your office hours?

Our awesome squad in NYC is available Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm EST. If you want to contact us outside of those times, definitely send us an email and we will respond as soon as we can. We are actively looking to expand our team and hours to ensure that wherever you are, we'll be there for you!

Where can I see my account info?

From any page on the site, click on your name in the top right corner. This will bring you to your account page, where you can access your Orders, Credits, Wishlist and Settings.

How do I see past orders?

From your account page, select the Orders tab and you will be brought to an overview of all of your orders. If you wish to take a closer look at a specific order, just click on the Details button by your desired order.

What if I forgot my password?

Don’t worry, it happens. On the login page, select the Forgot Password? link. You will receive an email to the email address associated with your account with instructions on how to reset your password.

For your security and privacy, our customer service reps and efurb Experts do not have access to your password and will not be able to change it for you.

What if I want to change my email address?

We do allow you to change your account email address on efurb. Just go to Settings in your account page and select Edit Account Settings. Select your current email address, delete it, and then type in your new desired email address. You will receive an email notification to your original email address confirming your request. A second notification will be sent to your newly requested email address, prompting you to confirm your change.

How do I change my shipping or billing information?

From your account page, go to Settings where you can add new or edit existing payment methods and shipping addresses.

How do I use the Wishlist feature?

Easy! Under the product images on the listing page, you will see the Wishlist icon. Simply check the box, create your wishlist (Mother’s Day, Birthday, Anniversary, etc) and then select the list you want the product stored in and viola!

How do I view my Wishlist?

To view items in your wishlist, simply go to your account page and select Wishlist. From there you can view all of your lists and items.

What's a product review?

Product reviews provide customers the opportunity to share their experiences, feedback and suggestions on products sold on efurb.

Anything I should keep in mind when writing a review?

We want your review to be focused on the product and helpful to the efurb community. Would you recommend this product? Did you enjoy the design and functions of the item? Any cool features or tricks you believe would be helpful to others?

If you have any thoughts on efurb.com, such as shipping speeds, customer service, support, etc., we'd definitely love to hear them, but your product review should be exclusively about the product itself and your experience with it.
